UPDATE: well, it looks like we will be sitting this month out. he is really distracted with getting things ready for his trip, so we are going to wait until next month. which is fine because then i dont have to endure the tww this cycle.. lol.. also, that will give me TONS of baby dust to send to all of you girls and i wont have to keep any for myself :D

sorry, i have been a bad girl and havent posted in so long!!!! Today is cd 11. i should ovulate between cd 14-18. as i said Dave(our daddy) will be leaving tomorrow for two weeks for work up north. If all goes well he will be coming over to our house late tonight/early tomorrow morning (2 or 3am, the things we do for a baby..lol). We figure it is definately worth a try since fresh sperm can survive for 3-5 days. it is a better chance than NOT doing it at all this month. so, we shall see. :) dont know that i'm looking forward to yet another tww though. ugh. that stressful crazy two weeks.

on a fun note, aradia's blog the other day with the jibjab video gave me a day of fun..lol.. i sat online at jibjab half the day making video's. thanks aradia!! lol.. the link to the blog is www.tlcfamilyalbum.blogspot.com if you have any troubles getting to it, holler at me. i dont think i made it private, but just in case i did let me know. get to know laine..

well, i have decided to introduce myself :)

i was born in 1976. :D fast forward.. when i was 4 my mom and grandmother took me to new york city to try out for a strawberry shortcake commercial, we were sure i would do great because ever since i could crawl i was always singing and memorizing commercials (even to this day i sing commercials.. lol).. well, there i was, blond hair big blue eyes pretty little dress, in the waiting room, waiting to go in the room for my tryout turn, a room full of little pretty girls all with blonde hair blue eyes and pretty little dresses, we looked like a roomfull of stepford children, lol, well, it was finally my turn. i got into the room, saw myself on the teleprompter thingamajiggy, and forgot my dang lines.. lol.. oh well, so much for my acting career.

fast forward again, when i was 8 i was in a car accident, injured my spinal cord, so i am a paraplegic, luckily the injury was very low and so the only thing i can't do is walk. i dont feel bad for myself because it could have been much worse!

fast forward to 19, i got married to my "high school sweetheart". when iwas 21 i realized i was not happy and that women made me happy and "complete". i got divorced and met tami :) Cody, tami's son, was 4 when we met.

Tami and i have been together for 10 1/2 years. on september 26th we are going to have our 10th year anniversary for the day we made a committment to each other! :D

my quest for a baby: when i was married we tried and tried for a baby with no luck, after we were divorced is when he decided to tell me that he is sterile and cannot have children, but declined to tell me this (jerk!!!!!!). in 1998 when tami and i had been together for a year we decided to try to have a baby. so, i went to a RE and underwent tests, blood tests to check for everything under the sun (lol) and an HSG (i hope to never have one again, it was horribly painful).. all the tests were good, i was good to go to ttc!! yay!! well, we tried for 2 months with clomid, trigger shot and iui. no luck, after two months we decided it was too expensive so we had to put that on hold..

Fast forward to 2004- we moved to florida and decided to try for a baby again. we used tami's brother as the donor this time. our timing was kind of screwed up, well, we did that for 2 months then he decided to move 18 hours away. so, we had to put ttc on hold again.

Fast forward to august 2006.. finally we have the money to order the sperm from a sperm bank, so we ordered vials for 12 months. no luck. then we asked a wonderful friend of ours to be the daddy for us :) he agreeed, and last month was our first try with him. We think the egg and sperm met but did not implant. so, here i am on cd 2 of cycle #14 ttc (if you count all of our tries over the years then this will be cycle # 18) sometimes i feel like being pregnant and becoming a biological mother is a distant dream that may never happen. but then i tell myself that it will happen when it is meant to happen. Cody, tami's son, is now 15! i can't believe it, wasnt it just yesterday that he was 4?! we have decided that in april of 2009 if i have not conceived yet then we will try ivf. We chose april 2009 because we will have the money for a few tries at that time.

stupid af.. stupid witch!! showed this morning, i'm icky feeling and crampy. But, got my hair cut this morning before work :D so that made me feel better. on we go to cycle #14 ttc. I could be wrong, but it seems like something tried to happen but it didnt stick. oh well, i shall not dwell on that. i will look forward to our next try in 2 weeks.

NO AF.. af should be banned from the ttc zone!!!!!!!!

here is today's chart, its up a tad since yesterday http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/46065 still way above coverline, but the cramps i have been having concern me cause they are just like af cramps, none today yet so far. i am not feeling AT ALL WELL today. have been up since 5am with wicked diarrhea.. i dont feel good at all, stomach is feeling so shaky like i'm going to vomit, but not. sorry if TMI.. lol.. anyway, af should be here between tomorrow and monday, so we shall see.. i think af has her arriving on monday but it is not unusual for me to get her a day or two early, so any day now we will know for sure. i think i might take a test tomorrow morning again if my temp hasnt fallen too low. we'll seee how i feel.

7dpo and weirded out!

sorry i was mia yesterday, i was keeping busy offline. i cleaned out my closet, i must say that is a nasty job that NOONE should ever have to do..lol. not many symptoms yesterday really, dont have swollen glands anymore, just had a few weird type crampy feelings off and on. today, a bit of the same so far. but my temp has definately got me weirded out!! how do you explain it? its soooo odd!!!! here it is http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/46065 this is 7 days of almost the same temp! weeeirrrdddd.... and it is the same thermometer i have been using for a year.. a fairly new battery so that isnt the reason. hmmmmmmmmmm.. ok peanut gallery, what say you??

5dpo ramblings

well, i must say first that this month is not quite as hot as it was last month so i cant say that my temps have anythign to do with that. they are still up there..here is the chart http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/46065
what does it mean? it is soooo very different than other months, and as i have said before i have been charting my temps for over a year. below are symptoms so far today, i will update as i get more..
*woke up with a big whitehead on my face, wasnt there last night when i went to bed
*slight cramps last night when i was going to sleep
*i'm constipated, and i havent been for a few months cause i've taken the activia challenge(damn that stuff really works and its YUMMY)
*i think my bra is tight today, and it is a new bra just got last month, hm, maybe it shrunk in dryer?
*still have swollen glands on right side of neck

UPDATE: dont feel so good right now, dont know if i'm gonna vomit, if i'm hungry or if i have to take a trip to the girls room.

well, now i'm having pinchy nagging cramps lower right abdomen.. more obsessing :D

4 dpo obsessions, the saga continues

here is my chart for today http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/46065 this is my main obsession today. if you'll look at my previous charts below this month's chart you will see how clearly different the temps are. they aren't usually so high right away. so, yep, that is my main obsession today. can you beleive that is my only obsession so far today? i will update the blog later if i have any more obsessions to add for the day :D

todays obsessions are:
*very hot and flushed today
* still very tired
*tight, bloated slightly crampy feelings in lower abdomen
*swollen glands on right side of neck
* dizzy if i move too fast
*kinda cranky feeling and all around miserable feeling, just wanna lay in bed and do nothing
*hardly any cm, usually i have tons of it
*very bloated

Those are todays obsessions :) now, there is a bug going around, our "daddy" has had a fever for a day or two, so maybe the above symptoms are in fact a bug.. what say the peanut gallery??

ok, i have decided that i will notate on here every little obsession i have during this tww, that way if af comes in two weeks i can look back and say to myself "see, they are not real symptoms so stop obsessing".. i know i'm not alone here girls.. lol.. that is what keeps me sane, knowing everyone ttc has these same troubles. so, today is 2dpo todays obsessions are:
*my temps are super high, arent usually this high right after ovulation
*i had a 30 second crampy type feeling in my lower abdomen, left side.
*very tired and hot (did i mention we live in florida and it is SO HOT OUT)
*achy pain in my left hip area

so, last night tami had a dream that she brought home a little baby girl :) then today i took a nap and had a dream she brought home a baby and i was playing with her and she was so beautiful. but, i forgot to feed her for a week!!!! but she was ok, just hungry. oh my, what a dream..lol.. i'm tired today and hot and just wanna sleep. think a bug is going around. our donor is sick today, tami doesnt feel good. blah.

think i'm either 1 or 2 dpo today. here is my chart for today, i obviously ovulated.. lol.. that is a huge temp rise today. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/46065 now into the dreaded tww. :D wish us luck. we did insem 3 days before, 1 day before, day of and day after ovulation. :D i think our timing was definatly good. hopefully it takes the first time around with fresh.

well, i'm very tired today, i didnt sleep well last night. dont feel so good today. had a huge glob of ewcm this morning that stretched like 4-5 inches! we will be doing insem tonight again, think tonight might be the last night. i MAY have ovulated yesterday. :) we shall see.. ff should give me confirmation in a day or two on that. so, today MIGHT be 1dpo..i'll update and let you know as soon as ff gives me that coverline. wish us luck!

we have liftoff

got first positive opk today at 1:53pm. here is a pic of it.. isnt it glorious?! lol.. so, we will do the sperm dance tonight and every night till i have ovulated which is usually about 2 days after.. so for the next 3 days. here are the events that were out of the ordinary that occured today. 1-a huge swarm of dragonflies were all flying around in a swirl around outside, our neighbor told me they are angels swarming around me.(she btw doesnt know we are ttc). 2-a friend of mine came by and surprised me, brought me fertility oil to rub on my wrist and belly, three fertility candles that i am to burn all at once and a little fertility goddess in a beautiful little black pouch. 3-just before she showed up with that(which was a surpise) i got the positive opk! good signs? i hope so!! also, for those that like astrology, i was born when the moon is in aries position and todays position is in aries!
